::)WHAT THE LORD IS SAYING TODAY - January 27, 2006
Ras Robinson
Jan 27, 2006

. Finish well. There is a race to be run. You are
running it well. Take heart and keep up your pace. In your mind, keep
your prize in view. I say unto you run with all your might. Let
nothing deter or stop you. Many are in the stands watching you even though
you do not know it. There are many obstacles to avoid, rivers to cross
and mountains to climb. Keep going and focus on that winner's prize.
When you think you cannot go another step, keep going. When friends
and other people seek to plant doubt in your mind that you will win the
prize, keep going. I alone have placed you into this race. And win you
will, if you faint not. Finish well.

1 Corinthians 9:24-25 "Do you not know that those who run in a race all
run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may
win. And everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in
all things. They then do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an
imperishable."

 WE HAVE A HOPE
« Result #3 on Jan 27, 2006, 7:56am »

There was once a little boy who was riding alone on a train, and the scenery was not too interesting. A woman sitting beside him asked,
"Are you tired of the long ride?"

The boy smiled and said, "I'm a little tired, but I don't mind it much. You see, my father is going to meet me when I get there."

Sometimes we get tired of the burdens of life, but we know that Jesus Christ will meet us at the end of our life's journey--and that makes all the difference. Paul wrote, "Therefore we do not lose heart...For
the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal." (2Corinthians 4:16 - 18). Knowing we will be with Christ forever far outweighs our burdens today! Keep your eyes on
eternity!

 GOD'S TRAINING SCHOOL

~TRINITY-TRAINED~
By M.Stanford

"He comforts us in our every affliction so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any kind of affliction by means of the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted of God" (II Cor. 1 :4, Wey.).

It is a great comfort to know that everything our Father takes us through --
Much of which may be hard and heartbreaking -- has a dual purpose. That which He utilizes to cause us to grow spiritually is at the same time designed to prepare us for His service. He does nothing in vain; He wastes nothing.

"In the very service itself God makes the servant fit to carry it out.
A
person is first disciplined for service, and then in the service he is made fit by it for the character of it. God has not servants ready made. He makes them
fit for His own service in connection with the race they have to run.
The word
'chasten' is the same as that used in Ephesians with respect to bringing up the children: it is nurture. We attach too much the idea of severity, or
retribution, to it." - J.B.S.

"Why does God take some through such deep and trying experiences? Why is it that He does not allow some of His children to have an easy way and to
be satisfied and gratified with elementary things? The needs of others -
that is why.

"We know quite well if any have been able really to help others, it is because they have gone through deep experience, they have pioneered this way, they
have paid a great price for this freedom. It has been costly, but worthwhile if others can be really helped."

"But to God be the thanks who in Christ ever heads our triumphal procession, and by our hands waves in every place that sweet incense, the knowledge
of Him" (II Cor. 2:14, Wey.).

 Emergency-Raise Girl From Dead

I received this from Kevin Frasure:

A friend of mine died last night in her sleep. She was a student at a prophetic school I went to. She had words spoken over her that she would be used in healings, signs and wonders. Please agree with me in prayer that she will be raised from the dead. Kevin

 MY PRAYER FOR YOU
« Result #9 on Jul 21, 2005, 3:59am »

Father, in Jesus' Name, I thank You that Your peace is my covenant right in Christ Jesus. I will keep my mind fixed on You Lord and trust in You and You will keep me in perfect peace.
I will not fret or have anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, I will continue to make my wants known to You, Father. And Your peace, which transcends all understanding, shall garrison and mount guard over my mind and heart in Christ Jesus. I fix my mind only on that which is worthy of reverence, honorable, just, pure, lovely, kind and gracious. If there is anything worthy of praise, I will think on and weigh and take account only of these things.

I will let the peace of God rule in my heart. As I do, I believe that my calm and undisturbed heart and mind are life and health to my physical body. I humble myself under the mighty hand of God, casting all of my concerns and anxieties on Him once and for all, because I know that He cares for me affectionately.

I thank You, Father, that You have not given me a spirit of timidity, of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear. The spirit I have of You is of power and love and of a calm and well balanced mind, of discipline and self control. You, Lord, are on my side; I will not fear. What can men do to me? You, Lord, are my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear or dread? You, Lord, are the refuge and stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? I love Your law, 0 Lord; nothing shall offend me or make me stumble; I walk in great peace, in Jesus' Name,

Amen.
